Windows 95/98 Internet Setup

  1. Double click on "My Computer."
  2. Double click on "Dial-Up Networking"
  3. Double click on "Make New Connection"
  4. For the name of the computer you are dialingcomputer your dialing enter the domain part of your e-mail address. (If your address is janedoe@oregonfcu.com then the domain part is oregonfcu.com.)
  5. Press the "Next" button.
  6. Leave the area code entry blank.
  7. Enter the phone number for your area from POP Locations and Numbers.
  8. Press the "Next" button.
  9. Press the finish button.
  10. Right click on the connection you just made and choose properties.

  11. On the general tab uncheck "Use area code and Dialing Properties."network protocol
  12. Click on the "Server Types" tab.
  13. Uncheck "Log on to Network."
  14. Uncheck "NetBEUI."
  15. Uncheck "IPX/SPX Compatible."
  16. Press the "OK" button.
  17. Right click on the connection and "Create Shortcut."shortcut
  18. Click on the "Yes" button to have it placed on your desktop.
  19. Close the "Dial-Up Networking" screen.
  20. Double click on the shortcut to the connection you made.

  21. For the username enter your full e-mail address you have with us.
  22. Enter the password you have on the account.
  23. Click "Save Password."
  24. Press the "Connect" button.
